Every time it is more common to talk with people of the opposite sex on msn for hours but never arrange to meet up, and many times we wonder: What I did wrong?

Well girls, here is the solution to the question that a lot of times is going around our minds, because my trip to London to know a little about other cultures was not in vain.

My last vacation didn´t include just seeing an amazing city, knowing clubs, dealing with new technology, doing some shopping and buying clothes; it also included visiting book shops, and while I was looking for something interesting and entertaining to read and practice the language, I found a book which I believe all or more than one girl should read ... "THE RULES, Time-tested Secrets for Capturing the Heart of Mr. Right."

To summarize a bit, the book lists and describes the secret of Melanie, a woman that everybody says "she had more marriage proposals than pairs of shoes in her closet"

Now, I´m sure that more than one of you want to know which are these rules…all right, here they are!
Maybe someone thinks that they are not much, but for the times we live in, where people forget the values, I believe this book reminds us that no one can think of us if we don´t love ourselves (or we don´t have a bit of self-esteem)

The Rules:

Rule 1: Be a "Creature different from Any Other" (it means that you have to show and make a difference! It´s just be feminine!)

Rule 2: Do not talk to a man first (and do not ask him to dance).

Rule 3: Do not stare at men or talk too much (for the XXI century I think it would be something like msn and social networks just the right and necessary)

Rule 4: Do not meet him halfway or go Dutch on a date

Rule 5: Do not Call Him and Rarely Return His calls (or as the book says .... you have to show him that you are busy ... “I'd love to see you today, but the truth is that I have a lot of things to do. .. Could we go out other day?” The meeting with him will look like a miracle for that guy, after he has been waiting so long)

Rule 6: Always end phone calls first

Rule 7: Do not accept a Saturday night date after-Wednesday (completely agree, I think a guy who calls you in the last moment is because his friends cancelled something LOL)

Rule 8: Always end the date first

Rule 9: Stop dating him if He doesn´t buy you a romantic gift for your Bday or valentine's day (I think this rule is so funny)

Rule 10: Do not see him later than eleven o'clock or twice a week (always remember that less is more)

Rule 11: No More Than casual kissing on the first date (just a casual kiss on the first date)

Rule 12: Do not tell him What to do (something that all men say that really bothers them)

Rule 13: Let him take the lead

Rule 14: Don´t expect a man to change or try to change him (if you like him as you meet him, accept it as He is)

Rule 15: Do not open up too fast, But be honest mysterious (in other words, do not tell everything about you, do not lie but …)

Rule 16: Do not leave with a man (or Leave Your Things in His apartment) (don´t let your stuff in his apartment if he isn´t your boyfriend)

Rule 17: Do not date a married man (do not go out with married men, I think it should be a rule for all women)

Rule 18: Do not break the rules (do not break the rules!)

Rule 19: Follow the rules and you'll live Happily Ever After!

Rule 20: Love only those who love you! (This is the best rule)

I think that after reading this more than one of you must be laughing, and more than one must be willing to read the whole book which explains each of these rules in 174 pages.
